About the “Ardıç” Tree The juniper tree (Juniperus), belonging to the cypress family, is a unique plant with a shrubby form and needle-like leaves. This tree species reproduces naturally in the wild and spreads with the help of thrush birds. The seeds, eaten by the birds, undergo a shelling process in their digestive system before being released into nature and sprouting. Thanks to its dark green foliage, the juniper tree remains evergreen year-round and stands out especially in landscaping for its aesthetic appeal.
